This course is very difficult.. Think about keeping your driver in the trunk, don't need it. Course is narrow, trees tall. A good iron player will score well here. I loved it. Scenery is awesome. Lack of sunlight can be challenging on greens and general maintenance.. I look forward to playing it again.. Can be long distances from green to Tee, consider riding a cart & look out for the flying monkies if you catch my drift.. Only 3 other courses i found in WI more challenging, Whistler-Strait being one.. I scored well at Teal Wing, my partners did not.
As a 7 handicap who has played all over USA, I can honestly say DON"T play this course if you are looking for a legimately challenging course. This is among the most beautiful golf courses anywhere. HOWEVER it is among the poorest condition courses I've played. Gimmicks and blind shots on every hole. Way...way to narrow and 100% slowest greens I've seen. Play it with the understanding it's unfair and you can have a good time. I will play again if nothing else to do. NOT a Legimate course but very fun from forward tees. BRING A DOZEN TOP-FlIGHT X OUTS WITH YOU. I lost 7 balls
