Mount Airy Golf Course, was beautiful to play. I enjoyed my first time there. However, The 13 hole was a Demon to play in the pouring rain

For a casino resort course the clubhouse is substandard, almost no parking, and no practice area at all! (not even a putting green). The course itself was a nice layout and in great condition given the bad weather recently. Nice balance of hills and fairway spacing for playability. For a hot day though the water stations were empty by noon and the water girl only roamed the front nine so if your thirsty in the back nine you may have jump into the ponds. Great value for $40, and some days they give casino slot credits with the greens fees.

Played twice this year within the last month. There is new construction plus they are installing a new irrigation system. Nonetheless, I played for only $20 (with cart) and I gotta say it was a tremendous value. There was one hole which was closed so we decided to just play the par 3 #9 hole twice.

Most (if not all) of the tee boxed were chewed up and/or dry. The fairways were hard as concrete. The greens were in pretty good shape if you prefer them slow. It was like putting thru mud.

Anyway, taking into consideration all the construction and such I'm gonna recommend Mt Airy as not as a must play but to play again in the near future when all the construction is complete. I thoroughly enjoyed the round.

Played the course May 25,2010 Nice course, the day I played I thought the greens and tees could have been cut but no big deal. Number 2 was closed for maintenance. There are a number of water holes and blind shots. So if you are not being pushed by other groups drive up the fairway and take a look. The price was right for the course. Parking lot has much to be desired. Would I play it again yes.
