It's a very basic nine-hole muni. I played it for well over 30 years, through high school and after; the soil on this course barely supports grass. So be prepared for less-than-ideal conditions. In spring, holes 4, 6, and 7 have major drainage issues and become swampy. I believe there are three (3) sand traps left on the course. Upside? Weekdays you may have the course to yourself and be around in 2 hrs. The fairway conditions generally seem like a mowed field, not any well-intentioned sod...so you have to consider it an extra challenge. Downsides? League players here move at a snail's pace. A course best left to beginners. A good place for dad to take the kids where they aren't likely to break anything.
