This is TRUE pasture pool! That being said, it is a great place for a beginner to learn the game minus putting. The fairways are wide open for the most part and suprisingly, for a course with no irrigation, there are few really bad lies. However, the greens are not grass but sand and very, very small to boot. If you are looking for a plush, well manicured course, this is not it. If you are looking to have fun and drink a few brews and possibly have the entire course to yourself, then this is your place. $5 for an entire day is also easy on the wallet and not a discouraging amount to a new golfer. I highly recommend that you play it at least once, and much more if you are a newbie.
