Greens are good. No grass in the fairways. We have had a lot of rain and warm weather. Should have grass without doing anything.
I am from out of town visiting. Asked for club rentals, did not have a full set, let alone for my 3 other friends. Had an awful time.
Having played this course just about every week this summer, it has really been updated. Yes, some of the greens have a bare spots, but they are small and few. Fairways pretty good shape. Nice clubhouse. All in all, even if you didn't use a discounted tee time, it is worth the money.
Crimson Creek is in bad shape. The green superintend does not know what he is doing. The greens are the worst greens in Oklahoma. There is no water on the fairway and they are hard and no grass. Don't waste your money to play here.
This course used to be a gem of a course in central Ok. This year, not so much. They have new management and will not let the superintendent, who has done a great job on the course over the last several years, spend any money on the course. They have let the greens go, and no water on the fairways. There are some fairways that do not have any grass at all. Just hard packed dirt. The restuarant complains when golfers bring in the grass from the course, so the golfers have to use the back door to use the amenities. A course I used to love to play, but will stay away from until changes are made.
