unless you bring rain with your shots on the par 3's, good luck holding them they are so small. kinda funny layout with 2 holes that cross 1 another. wasn't really worth the $$ for the amount of courses in Dayton area that are more affordable & in just as good of condition
This was one of the first courses I played in the area where a distinction could be made between the fairways and rough. I like the bent grass fairways. Most of the greens are elevated above the level of the fairway, so it's often difficult to play a run-up shot. At the same time, the greens are generally hard and difficult to hold. There are a couple of interesting holes, including one that crosses the same creek 2 times. The 18th is rather unique, with a tee-shot over a large pond to a fairway well below the pond. It's a guess as to what club to hit and where to land unless you are familiar with the course. There is a flag placed by the pond to show the general direction you should aim from the tee box.
