The golf course was in great shape especially for the amount of rain it had to handle. I did not rate it as a 5-star due to the price. I decided to play nine holes riding on a weekday early afternoon and it came to $23. The price was too high for an average course. The appropriate price for a course like this should be no more than $15 for 9 holes riding at any given time weekday or weekend. The staff is always polite and professional. If the price is right I would definitely recommend this course as it is well taken care of every year.
Not bad for a quick round. I also liked supporting a course that helps with the first tee program. Decent driving range and nice practice greens. The reason for the 1 star overall rating is the staff, particularly one cashier. I have never felt the need to write a review on any website, but his behavior warrants public acknowledgement. I have been a regular at the practice range, bought their memberships, etc, and really loved going there. Unfortunately, this particular staff member had a terrible attitude and started harassing me as soon as I walked in to buy my usual size bucket. No reason for an employee to ever become so agitated with a customer. If you are looking for a place to go hit some balls around and work on your game, head to the range on route 18, west of 77. Great people, solid prices, and a friendlier staff.
Course is well kept. Short course. Great for a solo round!
