Glennwood really stands out because of the pride of ownership. It’s family owned & operated, and you can tell the owners genuinely love the game of golf. That attitude alone sets the tone for a great experience at this course. You’ll feel welcome at this course, which is something you don’t often find at a public course.

The course features tight fairways and large, fast greens. If you hit straight, you’ll be ok. Don’t let the large greens fool you. Pin placement can be tricky sometimes and long putts can sneak up on you. Greens are fast. There is one tee box throughout the course and a driving range to warm up at.

The main hazard you’ll find on the course is water. This course sneaks up on you. It doesn’t appear that difficult at first, but it demands a strong short game as well as good aim. Overall, it’s a shorter course with a good pace of play. It’s a great spot for a regular round of golf. The course is also walkable. It’s especially scenic in the Fall when the leaves are changing color.

The price is reasonable - $34 with cart. The course is very well-maintained and does a good job with adding in elements of difficulty and straightforward play. It makes for a good pace during a round. There’s plenty of variety in the hole lengths as well - you’ll find twelve par 4 holes, two par 5 holes and four par 3 holes. The longest hole is #5 at 459 yards.

After you’re round, there’s the clubhouse to enjoy. It’s very clean with a comfortable atmosphere. This course exceeds expectations, especially for a public course. You’ll feel a warm welcome, which you don’t often find at the average golf course. Highly recommended!
