Cronin's Golf Resort

We had an outing yesterday and it was awful. The first thing that happened was they cancelled our awards dinner less then a week before so we had to scramble to find another place to have it. Then the bad part comes. We were scheduled for an 8:30 shotgun start, at 9:15 we finally started on the 15th-18th holes. when our groups got to the first hole there was a 30 minute wait, 5 foursomes already backed up in front of us. When we finally got going again there was a 10-15 minute wait at every hole. To make matters worse they had another larger group coming in at noon which they started letting play in between some of our foursomes which slowed things down even more. that next group of 128 people were there for a fund raiser and many weren't regular golfers. they were riding around all over the fairways in front of us. some of our players never finished the round that many of us were playing for championship spots. It was the worst outing/golf experience I've ever had.

Thank you to the Cronin Family for making our Lake George Rotary golf tournament a great success. We could not have done it without you. All our participants had a wonderful time and enjoyed golfing along the Hudson River. The clubhouse staff and food were just great and very helpful to everyone that does not live in this area. Not to mention the fun everyone had during the Putting Contest which you sponsored. Well done you.
