I think this is the second best public golf course in Western NY, only public course that is better is Seneca Hickory Stick in Lewiston. The course plays extremely difficult when the heather is high and thick in the middle of summer. You might want to stay away on the weekends, or play in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and players that look for 5 minutes per ball they lose in the heather. If you can hit straight and keep your balls out of the heather you should be able to score nicely. Show up 45 minutes early for your tee time and hit some balls on their practice chipping area, perfect to get warmed up. Friendly staff and fast play during the week. Best value course in WNY by far.
