Great, great track. The greens are amazing. The slopes on them really challenge the player to find a flat spot. The final hole is a great finishing hole besides the fact that you can lose a few balls.

For some reason, there seems to be a general lack of upkeep with this course. I do not know what goes into maintaining a golf course, of if the fact that its owned by the State has anything to do with it. But I think I can say with some degree of certainty that if even the bare minimum maintenance was being met here, this course would be in much better shape.

The greens & fairways have the that ugly look of neglect & deterioration, which I'm sure we've all seen. And its a real shame, because this course has the potential to be very good. But in its current state of disrepair, I can't even recommend it. All that said, the price is right and they have some great specials on their website, as well as a nice restaraunt and bar area at Sunsets. I'll go back, but only because its close by.

This course is owned by the DEP/State of NJ. They hired a good management company and the course really improved this year. Greens are in great shape. They are doing renovations to course, bunkers and facilities. Great deal on memberships.
