I played tis course on 2/6/11. For a early Feb day it was pretty crowded! I liked the course. It was harder than I thought it was going to be. It was my frst time at the course and I am not sure the tees were back as far as the card indicated. (I played the blues). Even so....it was a test of my game. Since I wasn;t sure of distances...I tended to lay up when I wasn't sure of the distance. There were some blind shots....ok..there were a large number of blind shots. I had to drive up a few times to see where to hit the ball. It would have helped to have played with a member or someone that had played there before. # 17 is a Per 6....and at 727yards...it was a test. You need to hit a 3 wood off the tee unless you can thread a driver. I will play the course again... My wife accompanied me during the round....and gave the course a lot of points for having well placed bathrooms...benches for sitting and wastebaskets for putting your trash in. I paid $35 for the round wit a cart...and I thought that was a reasonable price.

This probably was a fine course once. The economy maybe the culprit for the poor condition of this muni. We thought recent rains were the cause of the marshy fairways and squishy greens. But a worker told us the previous day's rain was sorely needed. Grass growing in bunkers, bare sand tee boxes. You can see they are trying though. No water on the course in July was a questionable decision. But the place was packed with locals. Some of the holes are hard to discern. You really have to look at the scorecard to know which way to hit on some holes. The 600+ yd par 17 was a very nice hole. Give this course a look when they have a year to recover.
