I love golfing different course in and around Minneapolis. However, this is one course I will not be returning to. I had made a teetime at the Chomonix and told them I had a coupon. They said they were wide open and to come out (it being the start of October, I wasn't surprised.) So I drove 35 minutes to get to the course. Once I got there, they said I couldn't use the coupon. When I asked why, they said I needed to purchase a cart for the coupon to work, and they weren't letting carts out that day. I told them I had called a few days ahead and had made a reservation, also mentioning that I had this coupon.

They said I could use the coupon next time. I told them the reason I bought the coupon is so I could use it, not so I could call ahead and then drive 35 minutes just to be denied.

Overall I had a horrible experience at the Chomonix. The course was dull, not kept very well, and I didn't even get to use the coupon (which they said I could use next year)... Sorry, I won't be back.

Chomonix is a woderful affordable course to play. They have great deals and there Twilight and Sunset rate make golfing this teriffic course very affordable. The staff is great and I enjoyed how friendly the rangers and bev cart drivers were. A lot of courses I play the starter/rangers seem old and grumpy. At Chomonix I found that to not be the case. The starter even told some jokes on the first tee. Chomonix is a must play in 2012 for all the reason I listed above!

Golf course is interesting, although a little quirky, but the maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of bare spots, and unmarked ground under repair. Also it seemed that most of the staff had an attitude (negative), and were not very friendly.
