I play here almost every week. 20 dollars after 3.00PM to ride 18, 7 days a week. Very friendly staff. 1st Hole green is always in bad shape. 16th Hole green has just finished reconstruction back to original green. Tall fairways and short roughs. Fastest greens in the area. Pins are not moved often enough. Good variation and design. Overall a fun course.
This is by far the worst course I have played on. Nice course if goat. Should not be called a golf course. Would have had better fairways in a cow field.
My beef with this course is that I was treated extremely rudely by the general manager. I showed up at 5 pm as a single after work. Was told there was a league playing at 6 so I could play the back 9 and then play the first 9. I played the back 9 and then started to play the front 9 on the first tee. No one in front or back of me. Was then yelled at by a player in a foursome on the second green. Then the general manager comes out and tells me I can't play the front 9. I told him his employee in the pro shop told me I could play the front 9 after I played the back. He refused to apologize for the misunderstanding and was rude and discourteous. I have never been treated this rudely at any golf course in my life (I am 53). I will not return.
I play this course often. The greens are as good as any in the area. The staff is great. Course is fair to those of all laying levels. Not a lot of water to worry about. Have Senior discounts on Tuesday and Thursday and winter rates. This course is as good as you can play in the Louisville/Frankfort area for the money.
