This is an excellent place and I hope more people can appreciate the value of this course. It’s not a course that for those of you looking for immaculate conditions. But if you want to experience American golf as it was first designed, this is a hidden gem. And the guy working the shop is a great find.

If you aren’t expecting what you see on tv, you can have a fun round at a great price.

The course isn't marked very well we had to drive around a bit to find the next hole in few places. Some of the holes didn't show where pin was located so you had to just tee off and hope for the best. Someone came around told us we needed to speed up and stay up with group in front of us once. We got to the next tee box and had to wait so not sure how fast they expect you to be there. Only place I've been that has tried to rush someone playing golf could understand if we wouldn't have let someone play thru or something. Im not sure Ill ever return to this course. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you shoot better then -4 a round due to fact they was only 2 of us playing best ball and we shot a -4 on 9 holes and wasn't fast enough for them. It might have been the worst golfing exp ever had. Go back to being a private club if you only want semi pro's playing with you...

Great little course to learn how to play the game on. Also, a great place to take your family for a fun day of golf. The owner/general manager seemed to be a pretty cool guy, too!

Just played 18 at this golf course. It is now New Albany Springs Golf Course and is open to the public. $26.00 for 18 holes. The course has been renovated 2 new greens from Valhalla were installed. Great design - very good condition. This was once the UPSCALE - PRIVATE Country Club and now I can play it. What a find right in New Albany only 2 miles from the Sherman Minton Bridge.

This is a pretty decent course for a 9 hole course in the middle of the city. It has a couple elevated tee shots, blind tee shots, some water but not a lot and very few trees on the course. Good for beginners and anyone looking for a different layout. It definitely suffers as the year goes on, but it's fun to play and pretty cheap.
