Very hilly course can make for some challenging approach shots, many are blind. These greens are the most difficult I have played in a long time!
Helfrich and Evansville's other city-owned 18-hole course, Fendrich are in very good shape..!! Two of the best conditioned courses in the area. And yes, I've played most of the others. Both have a great mix of holes that offer some major challenges and chances for pars and birdies. Playing them is a guaranteed blast..!! The staffs at both are excellent, and food's good too. The green's at city-owned 9-hole McDonald are in great shape, the course is in pretty good shape, and Pro Mike Wassmer provided excellent advice on a wedge purchase..!!
