Timber Pointe is fantastic. We drove over an hour to play this and another local course, the Ledges, which is also worth a play!! Timber Pointe is on the upscale side of golf. It has manicured tee boxes and greens. Fairways were in great shape as well. Greens were a little torn up, but we played later in the day so I"m sure all the play had something to do with that. That being said, they still rolled really well. Bunkers we're great in size and shape, but due to the rain storm we had the night before, I can't tell you how they really are seeing there were puddles and no fluffiness at all. I"m sure they're great though. The layout is a great mix of long and short holes. Certainly some TOUGH par 3's. A few t-shots you have to hit out of chutes of trees which is fun, but one or two could be trimmed back a bit. Pace of play was slower but still done in about 4 hrs 40 mins on a weekend. We all really enjoyed the course and will certainly be back.....ESPECIALLY with the great deals they have been putting out. We paid $20 for cart and golf. There is also a practice range that looked great but we didn't get to try since we were coming from our other round. I say get out and play Timber Pointe if you get the chance!
