This course seems to be set up for short hitters. there are fairway bunkers on almost every hole between 250-300 punishing good drives. all fairways slope to water, so expect to lose a few balls (even if you are a straight hitter). pace of play is generally terrible here. i have probably played 5 or so rounds here and most have been over 5 hours.
Lacks terrain or elevation changes, quite flat and mostly straight. Many sand bunkers through out the course. Water hazards on the course, but it doesn't seem like it comes into play often, unless you don't hit straight. No cart service and only two water stations. Bring your own or load up at the clubhouse. No rangers on weekdays that I have played. I would advise playing after 3PM on weekdays and get the twighlight rate. There plenty of other more interesting courses to play in the area for the same or less. Minimal golf staff, green fees reduced. The only thing keeping this from a 1 star course is Country Lakes. Makes for an alternate when the nearby good courses are busy.
