The course is challenging with all the elevation changes. Certain areas are being returfed, so maybe that has to do with Lon's comparison to a cow pasture. All in all, a great value for a very unique course.
Worse course condition ever played. This is a cow pasture, not a golf course. They should be paying the players to play it and the taxpayers should be outraged at the waste of money to call this a golf course.
This course is one of the more interesting that i have played in the western suburbs. The design was fantastic with the rolling hills (something that you dont get too much in Illinois) and prairie lined fairways. The course was just difficult enough to be an enjoyable challenge. Maintenance was very good for a muni course and pace of play was OK. I have to agree with the other reviewer that it was a little odd to have to wait until after the 13th hole to hit the halfway house. it was a long drive to get here from my house, but definitely worth it for a good value.
A good challenging muni course, that always seems to be busy.I would suggest calling ahead before coming out.
