The staff at Willow Creek are great. I was allowed to start well before 7am while maintenance was still doing work in the fairways/greens. I played in July of '12 and the course was in perfect shape. A few yellow marks in the fairways but no complaints whatsoever.
I played the black course and green course. The black plays amongst the trees and plays very tight. The green is kind of by itself and is the newer of the courses. There are houses on some of the holes but the fairways are much more forgiving.
Favorite holes on the black were 5,6, & 9. On the green it was 2,7, & 9.
Adding GPS to the carts or more fairway yardage signs are needed.
I highly recommend this course if you are in the area.
