I played this course in Winder last week, and wish I found it sooner. Very well maintained, new carts, and great winter grass. I was very impressed and played 18 holes for under $30. The local players were very nice.
I played the Chimneys recently and it is a great well kept course. I was impressed how nice the greens were, the golf carts were new and drove great. Staff was very nice and had a patio area for my group to relax and enjoy. Great improvements since it was bought out by the City.
I found the staff to be rude. Proshop attendant, especially. Players on the course were also very rude. Course itself was pretty, not much water, which I like. I would rather go next door to Pine Hills. Pay half as much and the staff is much more friendly.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite courses to play. Always in awesome shape even when others were losing their greens. Very scenic and has a lot of character.. A little difficult but not for loong hitters. Be prepared to drive over a lot of obstacles..A must play..
