Previous reviewers mister VA and thats_the_way_it_is need to take another look. That was in 2010. In 2011, Champion hybrid bermuda greens were installed and were fabulous[and difficult] for the Womens Invitational last January. Presently the fairways are thin but there has been management turnover. New people now in place. Give the course until October. Price is right, 15.00 with cart in off season. Great value. Best greens in Central Florida.
The greens played very slow and were in bad shape. The fairways were loaded with bald spots. Summer rates as late as October 2010 were $15 for 18 holes & cart in the morning and $13 after noon. [This was the first review referred to by the other reviewer. I added some comments on the cost.]
Got to agree with the 1st reviewer. Tees and greens have taken a regular beating and maintenance is not great. Play it occasionally because it's so close to home, but it's not a course you would call memorable. Efforts at landscaping are pretty much limited to trimming the "HH" in front of the parking area. Greens fees are pretty pricey for retirees. For the price of a round of golf, I would expect something a little more special.
