Cost $15 after 2pm which seemed good until we arrived. The clubhouse is an old bar full of smoke. The guy pulled my change for the "greens" fees out of his wallet. Went expecting it to be a little rough with country golf feel. It was much worst. Greens were, as my brother said, "browns" and "whites." Fairways are just a mowed field. Lots of water so on the first 3 holes you have to lay up. Back 9 is better than front nine. But both left us greatly disappointed. Had a great time with my brother and son, despite the course. Would not return!!!
This course is alive and well, even though you show it closed, in your email you offer discounted tee times. While Blue Heron is rough, the young operaters offer great service while trying to revive a bankrupt course on a shoestring budget.
