Started playing here 2 months ago. It was recommended by a friend here in The Villages. I'm now playing in a foursome each weekend. The first time we played the others experience was from years ago and their comments were all negative. After playing, each one commented that the course is much improved, very challenging, more beautiful than they remembered and a bargain - true value!. We now have a tee time every Saturday. Also - the cost to play is at least half what we pay in The Villages on a Championship course. The Villages Executive courses are no comparison to this course! Try it - you will like or love it!
The Lakes of Lady Lake is a fun and challenging golf course. The cost is surprisingly low for eighteen holes (cart included). As residents of The Villages, Florida (a premier gold oriented community) my wife and I prefer the challenges and scenery of the Lakes of Lady Lake course. The Villages golf courses are excellent, but a little too sterile for us. We like seeing wildlife, especially the bluebirds. The Lakes’ fairways are tighter and there are four water-hazards to cross.Low handicap golfers may find the course too easy, but we have yet to find that person. If one is truly a good golfer several eagles per round should be an excellent conversation starter. We are average golfers, our stokes may be sub par, but not our scores :-)The best my wife could do is ONLY one hole-in-one in two years!
