My first time ar The River Club. The course is in immaculate condition and the tee times are very affordable. I will be coming back again.
I've been playing this course since it first opened. Very nice course with challenging holes. My wife prefers to play in Ft Myers, but agrees that this course is very good as well.
Great course. Visiting from Ft Lauderdale area. A bit challenging, but that's to be expected. Thumbs up.
Just visited the area for the first time in a long time and stopped by the Riverclub Golf Course. It's not Pebble Beach, but it's one of the better golf courses in this area.
Difficult course with a lot of trouble off the tee. Condition of the course is always the issue. Generally fair to poor conditions. They have a nice driving range and generally the green fees are affordable.
Having played this course years ago, when it was a top venue...i was looking forward to teeing it up last week. What asurprise...fairways were sparse...thin lies or ball on mud...we had to play Winter rules...the greens were hard...and did not hold lob wedge shots....the cart paths were broken up and the look of dissrepair was prevalent. We played for $ 35.00...and felt that we were ripped off....staff was almost indifferent...and only the starter was pleasant. For $ 15.00 each, I would go to Sarasota golf colony, off of bee ridge road...and enjoy a well maintained public course. DON'T WAST YOUR TIME OFR MONEY ON THIS GOAT FARM.
They had frost problems with the greens in 2009. But the design has to be one of the coolest in the area! Lots of hills and bumps; almost a little TPC - like. One of the hardest courses around.
