Spectacular course in exceptional condition this year. Worth every penny!

I play this course a couple times a year. It is one of the nicest public courses I have played in the northeast. In the fall when the leaves are changing, it has great scenery. It has a good level of difficulty as the greens are significantly faster than public courses typically have, and the fairways are nicely manicured every time I go. I highly recommend this course.

I used to think this course was a Top 3 Tri-State public course. Certainly still a nice course to play, Front nine is a little stronger than the back as a couple of holes on the back, 15 & 16, are not up to the rest of the course. The biggest change has been in some of the people working out there. Was treated really poorly at the check in area. They didn't have our reservation (we booked it on their site!) and then the person behind the counter made out like we were making up that we had a reservation. There were later tee times which we accepted, then they tried to charge us the highest rate, not honoring our tee time or the online price. After rude person at front desk we spoke to GM, mostly just to get a little understanding and who was even ruder.Seemed to have a chip on her shoulder, like "it should be my pleasure to be treated this poorly and give them my money to play their course". It's a nice public course, not Bethpage Black. On their site they write about how important non-residents are to them (and our $87 green fees) but if this is how guests are treated, they may need to implement some customer service training. Teenagers and 20-somethings who work there are great; pleasant and helpful. Starters and outside cart guys, too. Higher ups, not so much. Go for the golf, just hope things inside the clubhouse have gotten better.

Great course with a lot of water. Golf course is strategically placed on a reservoir. Great par 3s that require shots over water. Take advantage early on the season where it costs around $50 to play rather than the usual $100!
