Decent course. Membership is not that expensive. But a daily green fee is extremely overprice. like 20 to 30 dollars more than you'd pay at stone bridge which is in the top 5 of publics in AR. back nine is fun. Course is usually in awful condition. clubhouse guys are nice. fun course if you can find a way to get it cheap. oh but theres a sewage treatment facility surrounding the course, so it usually stinks horribly.
Expensive for the quality maintenance and upkeep. Sand traps are every where but are in terrable shape! This could be a top notch course. but very dissapointed, & the price for the low quality is high. Greens were average. Tee boxes were long. roughs were too tall and slowed play to find your ball.
I agree with tulsagolfgirl. There are way nicer courses in the area for less money than valley view. This course is not worth the $50 they charge for 18. Sandtraps were solid dirt and the rest of the course was not maintained much better. Go to Stonebridge instead, you'll be much happier
This was an expensive round of golf and compared to other courses in the area, I would give it a pass next time. The fairways and greens are in good shape, but didn't enjoy the front nine among houses with many long grass "natural areas". The back nine is much nicer. It was just average for costing $48 per person. Snack bar service was mediocre. We were surprised to be playing in good weather on a Saturday morning with no one else around. I would expect these prices are too high for the area.
