Over priced & over hyped; high winds and dried out conditions made playability difficult at best. My son and I renamed it Keep it Dunes; we enjoyed the Penninsula courses much better.
Yes, it might be a little expensive but the course is in great shape. The greens were converted to champion bermuda grass about a year ago and rolled as good as any greens I've ever played. There are many nice courses in the area but most locals consider this the premier course in the area. It was in great shape minus a little standing water in the bunkers but definitely a course to consider when you're in the area.
Played twice in 2008 and once in 2009. Greens were in bad shape but they closed down to replace greens in late summer 2009. Hope to give it another try in future. Fun course, but beware of the sand.
